The Italian Interfaith Centre for the Dialogue (IICD) is an interdenominational group comprising non-profit religious, ecclesiastical, and lay organizations that adhere to the Charter of Values.
At its core, the IICD brings together faith-based, mission-driven institutional investors who view active engagement as a key element of their role. The objectives and guiding principles of the IICD are outlined in the Charter of Values.
Typically, members of the IICD network include economists and financial managers from the participating institutions. The network is open to all faith-based investors, both Catholic and non-Catholic, who are interested in actively contributing to its initiatives.
The primary goal of the IICD network is to foster collective efforts aimed at promoting dialogue with companies and governments (engagement). It advocates for the mission of religious organizations within the realms of corporate social responsibility, socially responsible investing, and faith-based investments. This dialogue aims to bridge the gap between businesses and states.
Founded on December 16, 2022, the network has held monthly online meetings since its inception.
There are two categories of participation: MEMBERS and OBSERVERS (for a maximum of 12 months). Membership in both categories is confirmed upon payment of the annual fee.
Please note: SGRs, asset managers, and financial companies are not eligible to join the network.
